Dudes!! So this is what significantly enabled my current obsession with learning to draw. I had seen these things years ago and always thought, "one day perhaps, I'll learn how to draw." Anyways, I knew it was inevitable so over the course of a week I did a lot of research. I decided I would get it for Xmas (haha, ummm, xmas came early). Was blown away by the selection of drawing tablets out there, but after reviewing mostly Youtube unboxings and reviews I decided to go with the modestly priced ($800) Huion GT-221Pro. To make this post short, it is absolutely worth every single penny I spent on it. This isn't a sales pitch so I'm not going to throw the features up on here... just know that for a guy that's relatively new to the whole drawing/anime thing, this will do the job.

Sidenote: I discovered I needed to pick up a new cable to get the dual monitor feature. DMI? ...never knew the thing existed till now. So the main monitor is running on HDMI and the tablet is on the DMI. In any case, I was running the thing as a double screen for my monitor for a couple days until I could get one on Amazon. Now, I'm able to dual screen it and put all of my reference art on the main monitor or have programs running that I can manipulate while I draw on the tablet. A decent DMI cable will run you about 20 bucks and the quality is just as good as HDMI.
